We are an established dental practice based in South East London, providing both NHS and private dental care to adults and children within a busy and professional clinical environment. The practice provides general dental care, preventative treatment and professional dental hygiene alongside NHS and private treatment options. With six treatment rooms and an established clinical team, the practice offers an excellent environment for someone looking to begin or develop their career in dental nursing.

The team includes experienced dentists, qualified dental nurses and other trainee dental nurses, providing the opportunity to learn alongside colleagues at different stages of their dental careers. The practice has existing experience supporting Trainee Dental Nurses, making this a particularly welcoming environment for someone who is new to dentistry and looking to develop their confidence, practical skills and clinical knowledge while working towards becoming a qualified Dental Nurse.

Opening Hours - The practice closes between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm Monday to Friday. Monday and Wednesday: 8:45 am to 7:15 pm Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:45 am to 5:45 pm Saturday: 8:45 am to 3:00 pm

About the Role:

This is an opportunity to begin your dental nursing career within a supportive clinical team, gaining practical experience while working towards a recognised Dental Nursing qualification. You will assist with the smooth running of the practice and help provide high standards of patient care. As your experience develops, you will become involved in chairside support, preparing treatment rooms, maintaining infection control standards, assisting with patient administration and supporting the wider dental team.

No previous experience in dental nursing is required. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual who is keen to learn, works well with others and is committed to developing a long term career in dentistry. You will receive guidance and practical workplace training from experienced dental professionals, helping you build the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to progress within the profession.

The Opportunity:

This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a long term career within dentistry. Support will be provided as you work towards a GDC recognised Dental Nursing qualification, while gaining valuable hands on experience within both NHS and private dentistry. You will work closely with an experienced clinical team and receive practical training across the day to day responsibilities of dental nursing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms Cleaning, disinfecting and sterilising dental instruments Supporting patients and helping them feel comfortable during treatment Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical notes Following infection control and cross contamination procedures Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and health and safety are maintained throughout the practice

What We Are Looking For : A genuine interest in pursuing a career in Dental Nursing Interested in starting or currently working towards a GDC recognised Dental Nursing qualification, the NEBDN Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, organised and punctual approach to work Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work well within a team and use initiative when required Hepatitis B vaccinated or willing to complete the necessary immunisation programme Legally entitled to work in the UK Able to provide a valid National Insurance number Training and Career Development:
