Location:
Northampton Salary: £35-40,000
An established architectural practice in the Northampton is seeking a talented Architectural Technologist to join its expanding team. With more than 50 years of experience delivering projects across both the public and private sectors, the practice has built a strong reputation for its work within logistics, education, hospitality, civic, leisure, industrial, and residential developments. Working on projects ranging from small-scale schemes through to major multi-million-pound developments, the team offers a collaborative environment with a strong focus on technical excellence and BIM-led delivery.

The Role:
Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction information using Revit
Lead the technical design and coordination of projects across a variety of sectors
Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure projects meet building regulations, planning requirements, and industry standards
Support project delivery through all RIBA work stages, from early design through to completion
Provide technical guidance and resolve design and construction challenges as projects progress
Requirements:
Degree in Architectural Technology or a related subject
Proven experience working within a UK architectural practice
Strong understanding of UK building regulations, construction techniques, and technical detailing
Proficient in Revit
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and contribute effectively within a collaborative team
CIAT accreditation, or an interest in working towards chartered status, would be beneficial
