Job Summary

Join our team of GPs and ANPs in the New Models of Care programme for the Northamptonshire Rural East & South (NRES) Neighbourhood. We are looking to recruit up to 8 GP sessions to work at Denton Village Surgery on our Neighbourhood Project. Work within practices across the neighbourhood to deliver high‑quality, same‑day care to our patients. You will work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team within primary care to provide expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation for patients presenting with undifferentiated primary care presentations.

In addition to same‑day access work, you will incorporate a proportion of routine GP appointments into your working day. This is your chance to shape integrated neighbourhood services and make a real difference to patient outcomes across our 88,938 registered patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a GP in the New Models of Care programme, you will provide autonomous care for patients presenting with undifferentiated presentations mainly in same‑day settings. You will demonstrate safe clinical decision‑making and provide expert care by undertaking initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care, including appropriate follow‑ups. Working with other GPs and the nursing team in the neighbourhood practices and Hub you will continually review and evaluate services and work with the management team in implementation of change.
