School Maintenance Caretaker

£15.00 - £18.00 per hour

Are you an experienced maintenance professional looking to transition into the education sector?

• Carry out general maintenance of the school as well as litter picking
• Open and close the school building
• Carry out odd jobs delegated by the supervisor
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Set alarms

There are full-time and part-time positions available on an ongoing temporary basis to support site teams in day-to-day maintenance and site work in schools across the area. Some roles may move to a permanent contract within the schools, but this is not guaranteed. You must be available to start immediately and be flexible with working hours, as some schools require split shifts (for example, 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.).

Aspire People requires candidates to fully register, provide right-to-work documents, and obtain an enhanced DBS (to be processed by us). The DBS check costs £47.20 unless you already have one registered on the DBS Update Service. Please only apply if you are able to complete this process.
