At Fresh Start in Education, we’re looking for proactive, person-centred people to design and deliver personalised learning sessions that spark curiosity, confidence and a sense of hope for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs who are out of mainstream education. WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Providing 1:1 support to children in their homes or a suitable public setting.
- Delivering personalised, creative sessions that reflect each learner’s needs, interests and abilities.
- Sessions run during the school day (term time only) and typically last 3 to 5 hours.
- Working flexibly (on a bank staff contract) as part of a compassionate, expert-led team that values you, your skills and creative input.
- Education professionals with experience supporting children with SEN and SEMH needs, including challenging behaviour, anxiety, brain injury and Cerebral Palsy.
- Experience delivering or supporting with the Primary National Curriculum.
- A minimum of 2 consistent weekdays of availability.
- Up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- £25–£35 per hour, depending on experience.
- Travel subsidy & £15 per day resource allowance.

- Bank staff role (PAYE), offering both short-term and long-term placements.
