Hays Education is recruiting passionate, resilient, and dedicated SEN Teachers to support a wide range of Special Educational Needs settings across Northamptonshire. Whether you specialise in Primary, Secondary or have experience across both, we have opportunities to suit your skills and availability.

About the Role:

Autism (ASD)
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
Moderate to severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD)
Complex needs and communication difficulties
Physical disabilities

Your responsibilities may include:

Delivering tailored lessons that support individual learning needs
Adapting teaching approaches to suit different abilities and EHCP targets
Creating a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
Working closely with support staff, therapists, and school leaders
Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing

What You'll Need to Succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school‑based or alternative settings)
Ability to differentiate effectively and manage diverse needs
Strong communication, patience, and resilience
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
