Electrical Installations Lecturer – come off the tools and teach your trade!

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced and fully qualified electrician who is passionate about passing on their well-honed skills to the next generation of electricians.

Role responsibilities:

Deliver the Electrical curriculum to full‑time and part‑time students learning up to level 3
Act as the course tutor, taking responsibility for organisation, administration and monitoring of attendance and progress.
Participate in curriculum development to ensure alignment with evolving industrial demand and college strategic development.
Engage and enthuse learners, bringing your real‑life industry experience into the classroom to support their practical and technical progress.  
What do you need?
 
Fully qualified electrician with considerable experience in industry
Qualified to at least Level 3 Electrical Installation and capable of teaching 18th Edition wiring regulations.
If not already a qualified teacher, happy to work towards a qualification with support from and fully funded by the college
Happy to undergo an enhanced DBS check including the child barred list
