Tutors

Position: Tutors required
Simply Education is seeking Qualified Teaching Tutors in the local area to support Secondary schools with their pupils who require extra support. The Tutors can be utilised for intervention, 121 support, children with needs within a school setting, as well as home provisions. The majority of the needs will be face to face, however there can be occasions where there will be some online requirements too.

Key Responsibilities:

Individualised support:
Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to student(s)

* Behaviour management:
Implement and maintain effective behaviour management strategies

* Adaptable teaching:
Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

* Collaboration:

Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive support system

* Progress monitoring:
Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.

Attributes:

* Resilience:
Ability to stay calm and composed in challenging situations

* Behaviour management:
Proven skills in managing and improving student behaviour

* SEN awareness:
Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and effective support strategies

* Experience:

Previous experience working with SEN students in an educational setting is preferred

* Communication skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Adaptability:
Flexibility to adjust methods and approaches based on individual student needs.

Job requirements:

You must be eligible to work in the UK
Ideally hold UK QTS
Have Strong Management in small groups and individual basis
A formal qualification such as a PGCE in Education is essential, although previous experience in a classroom environment would also be considered.
A Passion for teaching and education
Have a creative approach to teaching
Be flexible and adaptable
Passion for supporting students in their learning
Possess ambition and drive to become an outstanding class-room practitioner
Excellent communication and lesson delivery skills
A hard work ethic.
