Permanent - 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time, plus 5 days) - Monday to Friday 8:30am to 16:00pm. Salary:
Grade J points 27 to 31 - Starting point 27 £ 38,220 FTE, Actual salary £31,201.

Role OverviewHead of Year. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Head of Year who are passionate about the pastoral and academic well-being of young people at Guilsborough Academy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to make a significant contribution to the leadership, management and organisation of a year group. As a Head of Year, you will professionally lead, manage, develop, support and be accountable for a Year Team (Form Tutors and an Assistant Head of Year) and students in achieving the highest possible standards of achievement, progress, personal development and well-being.
The Head of Year role is integral to the successful implementation of our 'Team around the Year' structure, where each year group is supported by a Head of Year, Assistant Head of Year (non‑teaching), SEND Champion and the attendance team.
