Full-Time Year 3 Teaching Assistant
Northampton (NN2)
Full-Time - Term Time Only
Mainstream Primary School

Are you the kind of TA who brings energy into the room, spots when a child needs that extra boost, and genuinely loves seeing confidence grow?

A vibrant and welcoming mainstream primary school in Northampton (NN2) is looking for a brilliant Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This isn't just another classroom support role - it's a chance to become a key part of a year group where curiosity is growing, independence is developing, and no two days are ever the same.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be right at the heart of the classroom - supporting learning, building confidence and helping pupils navigate that important transition into Key Stage 2.

  • Working closely with the class teacher to keep lessons engaging and inclusive

  • Running small group interventions that make a real impact in reading, writing and maths

  • Providing 1:1 support where needed - academically and emotionally

  • Helping to create a calm, organised and inspiring classroom environment

  • Championing positive behaviour and celebrating progress (big and small!)

We'd Love to Hear From You If:
  • You've worked in a primary setting and understand the KS2 curriculum

  • You're confident supporting literacy and numeracy

  • You're patient, proactive and naturally nurturing

  • You build rapport easily and know how to motivate young learners

  • You hold a TA qualification (great, but not essential)

What Makes This School Special?
  • A genuinely supportive leadership team

  • Friendly, collaborative staff

  • Enthusiastic pupils who love to learn

  • A strong focus on inclusion and professional development

This is a full-time role starting ASAP, with the potential to continue for the right person.

If you're ready to step into a classroom where you'll be valued, supported and able to make a real difference every single day - we'd love to hear from you
