History Teacher - Secondary School in Northampton

An ambitious and supportive secondary school in Northampton is seeking a passionate History Teacher to join its team from the Easter term.

As a History Teacher, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students to:
Develop a secure understanding of key historical events and periods
Think critically about evidence, interpretation and perspective
Strengthen analytical writing and extended responses
Build curiosity about society, culture and global change
You will contribute to a department that values thoughtful curriculum planning, consistent expectations and collaborative working.
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Has experience teaching History at secondary level
Can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that stretch and support all learners
Establishes clear routines and maintains high standards of behaviour
Shares the school's belief in high expectations and inclusive education
