Are you a passionate teacher who thrives on making a difference?

We are looking for an inspiring and adaptable Secondary SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN & Alternative Provision setting in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students across Key Stage 3 & 4 who require additional support with learning, behaviour, and emotional development.

You will play a vital role in helping young people rebuild confidence, re-engage with education, and achieve positive outcomes in a supportive and nurturing environment.

The Role

Deliver creative and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Support students with SEN, SEMH, and behavioural challenges
Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
Encourage emotional wellbeing, independence, and personal growth
Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and pastoral teams
Inspire students to achieve academically and socially

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience or strong interest in SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach to teaching
Ability to adapt learning to meet individual student needs
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
