SEN / SEMH Teacher Required - Northampton Area

Mana Education are working with a highly regarded specialist education provider seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN / SEMH Teacher to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting young people who may have experienced barriers to learning and require a more personalised and nurturing educational environment.

The role offers the opportunity to move into a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

You will be teaching small classes of pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• ADHD
• Behavioural challenges
• Communication and interaction needs
• Pupils requiring alternative educational provision

The successful candidate will create engaging lessons, build positive relationships and help pupils develop both academically and personally.

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with support staff, parents and external agencies
• Encourage confidence, resilience and personal development

This role is ideal for teachers who want to make a genuine difference.

You will work with smaller class sizes, receive strong support from experienced colleagues and have the opportunity to help pupils re-engage with education and achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in transforming educational outcomes for vulnerable young people.

• QTS / equivalent recognised teaching qualification OR relevant experience in UK schools
• Experience working with SEN, SEMH or challenging behaviour (desirable)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
