Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a successful and supportive secondary school to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Social Sciences for a permanent position starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher, whether newly qualified or experienced, to join a thriving department where student achievement and high-quality teaching are at the heart of everything they do.
The successful candidate will possess strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for inspiring young people through Social Sciences. Experience or knowledge of teaching Sociology at A Level would be advantageous, and experience of Criminology at Key Stage 5 would be welcomed, although neither is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
