NSB Trust Support Staff Scale point 3 £ 24,796 FTE using April 2025 NJC rates
(£11,199.97 to £13,999.96 Actual, dependent on hours)
20 to 25 hours a week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus training days)
9:00am-1:00pm/2:00pm daily (exact hours confirmed on appointment)

Northampton School (part of The NSB Trust) is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic member of staff to work as an integral part of our highly successful Performing Arts Team. You will work closely with other school staff to support students’ learning in the classroom as well as our extracurricular provision.
Previous experience of working in a school would be beneficial but is not essential. Due to the nature of the role, we will need the successful applicant to have a degree of flexibility in their working hours, to support a small number of performances every year.
About You- You must have great organisational skills, be motivated, determined, flexible, resilient and a self‑starter;
- You must have a willingness to learn and be part of a pro‑active team to identify and address any issues;
- You must be professional and a good communicator when working with staff, students and outside agencies;
- You must have an excellent standard of literacy, numeracy, ICT skills and general education;
- You must have a positive approach to challenge and change and ensure the overall well‑being of students;
- You must ensure that the school is a pleasant and secure learning environment so that all students feel safe.
