The University of Northampton is seeking a Lecturer in Sport Rehabilitation and Conditioning. You will join a collegiate team, with a positive culture of student‑focused teaching and high impact research and knowledge exchange. You will deliver engaging teaching across the BASRAT accredited BSc Sports Rehabilitation and Conditioning, support students as a personal tutor, and contribute to wider faculty and University activity.
You will work with colleagues across the Sport Rehabilitation and Conditioning team to support teaching and assessment on selected modules, and contribute to the research and scholarly output of the subject area.

About you• Proven background in sports rehabilitation, sports therapy, physiotherapy or strength and conditioning.
• Experience in delivery of high‑quality teaching and assessment materials and applied practice experience.
• Creative, able to motivate and inspire learners.
• Experience of teaching and use of learning technologies in higher education is essential.
• ICT literate, with experience of module leadership and quality assurance.
• Track record of effective partnership working (internal and external) to develop scholarship and employability opportunities in sport is advantageous.
• Highly disciplined, organised, supportive, and able to work collegiately within a team.
QualificationsEssential
- Degree in a relevant subject (Sport Rehabilitation, Sport Therapy, Physiotherapy, Strength and Conditioning).
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, HEA or equivalent) or willingness to achieve within an agreed timescale.
Desirable
- Master’s degree in a relevant subject, PhD (or close to completion).
- Relevant professional qualification.
