Monarch Education is working with secondary schools across Northampton and the surrounding areas and is looking to recruit talented Science Teachers for a range of exciting opportunities.
Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science, we have a variety of roles available across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
As a GCA-approved supplier across both Lot 1 and Lot 2, we have access to a large network of schools, giving our teachers access to more opportunities, more choice and more consistent work throughout the academic year.
The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons that support student progress and achievement
Teach across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available depending on experience and specialism
Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Monitor and track student progress effectively
Support students in developing scientific knowledge, practical skills and a passion for learning
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
UK teaching experience clearly evidenced on your CV
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science
ECTs are welcome to apply
