We are looking for a passionate and dedicated KS1 teacher to join our team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the educational journey of young learners in a thriving school community. Located in the heart of Northampton, dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for both our students and staff.
The RoleYou will have responsibility for teaching a lively and engaging curriculum, helping to develop key skills in our youngest learners and ensuring they reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS1.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching and support.
- Deliver high-quality teaching in KS1 across all core subjects
- Use a variety of teaching methods to ensure all pupils are engaged and challenged
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, including support staff, to provide tailored learning experiences
- Keep up-to-date with changes in curriculum and educational developments
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure effective communication regarding pupils' progress
- Holds a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Has experience teaching in KS1, with a clear understanding of the national curriculum
- Is passionate about nurturing young learners and making a difference in their education
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is a team player, willing to collaborate with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for pupils
- Is committed to their own professional development
