Contract: Full time
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher in the Northampton area on a full-time basis. You will play a key role in shaping young minds, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. You will be responsible for planning and delivering an engaging curriculum, assessing pupil progress, and adapting your teaching to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
Working closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff, you will help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, creativity in lesson planning, and a commitment to raising educational standards. You will encourage pupils to develop academically, socially, and emotionally, supporting them to become confident, independent learners.
The Role
As a Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils and align with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where children feel supported and motivated to learn.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and support individual achievement.
- Differentiate teaching strategies and resources to meet the varying abilities, learning styles, and needs of pupils.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive attitudes, good conduct, and mutual respect.
- Foster pupils' social, emotional, and personal development alongside their academic progress.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff to support learning and wellbeing.
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil progress, achievement, and any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, parents' evenings, and wider school activities.
- Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and child protection policies at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an educator who:
- Has obtained and maintained Qualified Teacher Status.
- Is adaptable and comfortable working with different year groups.
- Has a clear understanding of Safeguarding.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences.
- Can build strong, positive relationships with children.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Is available for full-time work.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
