Teacher Active is proud to be working with two SEMH provisions within the same trust in the Northampton area, who are looking to appoint an Attendance and Welfare Officer. The successful candidate will work across both provisions, with hybrid working available as part of the role.
The trust is looking to take on a part-time Attendance and Welfare Officer from September. The Attendance & Welfare Officer will carry out pupil home visits to help improve attendance and complete welfare checks, working closely with pupils, parents, Heads of School and external agencies to provide effective support.
Requirements- A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle
- Experience working with children, young people and families
- Experience or understanding of attendance and pupil welfare
- Strong multi-agency communication skills
- The ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils and parents
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
In return for the above you can expect to receive:
Benefits- A salary of £28,000 – £30,000 pro rata
- Hybrid working
- Mileage paid at 35p per mile
