Day to day duties

Required skills and qualifications

Skills

  • Enthusiastic, motivated and committed to supporting young people
  • Ability to use a range of Information Technology/Information Communication Technology systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to engage groups of students through the delivery of personal development tutorials
  • Ability to analyse and interpret basic student related data, for example relating to patterns of absence/absence levels
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks through to completion within prescribed deadlines

Education

  • English and maths GCSE grade C/4 or above/willingness to obtain, or equivalent skill level
  • Willingness and ability to undertake Level 3 Award in Education and Training
