We are always looking for talented/aspiring support staff to join our team and help us deliver high-quality education to learners. Reed FE is working in partnership with an FE provider to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Lecturer in Agricultural Engineering .

Permanent Salary: up to £39,228
The Role As Lecturer, you will plan and deliver engaging practical and theoretical sessions, assess learners against national vocational standards, and contribute to the ongoing development of a high-performing engineering department. You will help ensure provision meets awarding body requirements, industry expectations, and delivers excellent learner outcomes. About You We are keen to hear from candidates who are technically competent, learner-focused and motivated to inspire the next generation of engineers.
Essential / Desirable Criteria:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational area Level 5 or 6 qualification in Engineering (desirable) Relevant teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one Assessor qualification (or willingness to obtain) Internal Verifier qualification (or willingness to obtain) Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent) Experience delivering and assessing vocational engineering programmes Industry experience within agricultural engineering, engines, welding and fabrication, and machinery technology Strong digital skills, particularly Microsoft Office Knowledge of assessment and internal quality assurance processes Strong understanding of health & safety, safeguarding, equality and diversity Ability to build effective relationships with learners, colleagues, employers and industry partners Organised, adaptable and forward-thinking, with the ability to motivate and inspire learners Reed Further Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment by completing mandatory training within 6 weeks of your first assignment and annually thereafter.
