As Attendance Co-ordinator at Abbeyfield School, you will be a highly organised and professional individual who understands the important link between attendance, wellbeing, and student achievement. You will be confident communicating with parents, carers, students, and staff, able to manage sensitive information with discretion, and committed to supporting young people to attend school regularly and thrive. Whether monitoring attendance data, following up on absences, or working alongside pastoral and safeguarding teams to remove barriers to attendance, you will bring resilience, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for every student

• Administration:
  Experience working in an administrative role with the ability to manage confidential information accurately and efficiently.
• Communication:
  Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Organisation:
  Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Commitment: A passion for supporting student attendance, wellbeing, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for young people.

Our Attendance Department is at the heart of supporting student success. Working closely with pastoral leaders, safeguarding colleagues, and families, the team promotes excellent attendance, identifies concerns early, and puts effective interventions in place to help students engage fully with school life.
