Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Energy Centre (EC) and supporting the brewery’s production activities.

• Maintain safe operation and upkeep of the Energy Centre and all related equipment and services.
• Enforce site health & safety policies, SOPs, SSWs, ESIP near‑miss processes, risk assessments, and relevant legislative, quality, food safety and environmental procedures.
• Keep engineering workshops clean, organised and compliant with GMP or 5S standards.
• Resolve breakdowns promptly to maintain EC performance.
• Prioritise jobs in conjunction with Production to support brewery operations.

• Boiler, refrigeration, compressed‑air or reverse‑osmosis plant operation and maintenance experience desirable (not essential).
• Understanding of ‘right‑first‑time’ principles.
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 and HNC in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent).
• Time‑served apprenticeship background in a manufacturing engineering environment.
