Rate: £30 – £40 per hour (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Monitor developer and contractor works for compliance with approved documentation, specifications, planning requirements, legal agreements and permits
Identify non‑compliant work, agree required remedial action and monitor successful completion
Monitor works within the highway to ensure operational and public safety, including traffic management compliance
Liaise with developers, designers, contractors and Development Management and Technical Audit teams to identify and agree design changes required to achieve compliant and acceptable schemes
Confirm completion of civil engineering works to support maintenance and/or adoption certification

Qualifications

Previous experience in Highways is essential for this role. Carrington West is also looking for Engineers & Inspectors with similar backgrounds across the UK.
