About the Company & Role

A well-known and growing M&E contractor specialising in the construction sector is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Estimator to support the delivery of their expanding project portfolio.

Working across a diverse range of schemes, you will play a key role in managing the mechanical aspects of tenders and supporting the business in securing new work. Projects are delivered nationwide however you will be based mainly in the office.

The Role

You will join an established team and be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of mechanical building services projects.

Key duties include:

• Producing detailed mechanical estimates from drawings and specifications
• Pricing works across multiple project sectors
• Working both independently and collaboratively within the estimating team
• Supporting the business in winning new work and driving growth
• Ensuring all submissions are commercially competitive and technically robust

What We're Looking For

• An experienced Mechanical Estimator with a strong all-round background
• Expertise across:
  Plumbing & domestic water, Heating systems, HVAC / air conditioning, Ventilation & ductwork
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications with confidence
• Proven ability to price work independently and contribute to winning tenders
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

Working Environment

• Office-based in Northampton (5 days per week preferred)
• Working hours:
  
  8:30am - 5:00pm
• Modern office with nearby amenities and good transport links
