Senior Authorised Person

Senior Authorised Person £100 per hour - 40-50 hour weeks North Yorkshire 12 month initial contract Are you a Senior Authorised Person looking to for your next contract? Have you got experience working with a variety of DNO's? If so, please read on Core duties include:
Full SAP responsibilities (not just switching), including: HV switching, isolations, earthing, LOTO Permits to Work / Sanctions for Test Safety from the system (incl. SF6 GIS) Review/approval of RAMS, switching programmes, energisation plans Coordination with DNO/ICP, EPC and commissioning teams Grid connection testing (SCADA coordination) and G99 compliance HV troubleshooting (relays, switch gear, protection systems) Essential requirements: 33 kV SAP authorisation (mandatory) with recognised HV switching competency Proven experience under UK HV Safety Rules Authorised by / acceptable to relevant DNOs (e.g. Northern Powergrid, UK Power Networks, National Grid ESO) and able to operate under DNO/ICP/site rules CSCS/ECS, HV medical, HVSAP, First Aid Working knowledge of CDM 2015 Desirable (not essential) requirements: 66 kV / 132 kV authorisations AP15 / Authorised Person (HV) IOSH qualification SSSTS or SMSTS NEBOSH OEM/GIS (SF6) training Strong fault-finding and experience with complex/staged energisation (Solar  BESS) If this sounds like a good fit for you, please get in touch with Kate Blackwell at JAM Recruitment ASAP!
