Role

and responsibilities

As a Principal or Senior Principal Consultant, you will provide senior leadership within our Nuclear team, delivering specialist environmental and radioactive waste consultancy services to clients across the UK and internationally. You will lead technically complex projects, develop waste strategies, environmental safety cases, permitting strategies, and regulatory compliance programmes for nuclear new build and decommissioning programmes. You will help clients navigate environmental and radioactive waste management challenges while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will drive business growth through identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, leading bids, and preparing technical proposals. Contribute to the safe decommissioning of legacy facilities, development of next-generation nuclear technologies, and responsible waste management.

Support business development, client engagement, mentoring, and capability building to strengthen market position and grow the next generation of nuclear consultants. Contribute to the advancement of safe, sustainable nuclear infrastructure and the UK's long-term energy and environmental objectives.
