Planner - Civil Engineering Northampton Full  Time, Permanent The OpportunityA leading civil engineering specialist, part of a well-established Tier 1 contractor group, is looking to appoint an experienced Planner to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of infrastructure and civils projects across the Midlands.

The Role As Planner, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of civil engineering projects, taking responsibility for programme development, monitoring, and reporting from pre-construction through to completion.

You'll work closely with project, commercial, and operational teams to ensure programmes are robust, achievable, and aligned with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities -    Develop and manage detailed project programmes using Asta Power project-    Provide planning support across live civil engineering schemes-    Monitor progress, analyse programme performance, and report on key metrics-    Identify risks, delays, and opportunities within project timelines-    Support tender and pre-construction activities with programme input-    Collaborate with site and commercial teams to ensure alignment between programme, cost, and delivery-    Maintain accurate records and programme updates throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements-    Proven experience as a Planner within civil engineering or infrastructure projects-    Strong working knowledge of Asta Power project (essential)-    Solid understanding of project life cycles from tender through to completion-    Experience working on complex civils schemes-    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Package-    Salary:
Up to 80,000-    6,000 car allowance or company car-    Pension-    Bonus-    Plus additional benefits
