Water Hygiene / Remedial Small Works Engineer

£31,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

Northamptonshire

Experienced Water Hygiene Engineer with experience in the water industry including hands‑on small work and remedial plumbing background required on a permanent basis to cover South Midlands area.

The role:
  • Carry out water temperature testing to ACOP L8 requirements, flushing and electronic record keeping, ensuring water systems remain compliant and all works are accurately recorded using company systems
  • Complete shower head cleaning, TMV servicing, water sampling, tank inspections, tank cleaning, mains injections and calorifier cleans and inspections, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently
  • Undertake swimming pool sampling, closed system sampling and analysis, ensuring all testing and analysis is completed in line with company procedures, legislation and customer requirements
  • Carry out cooling tower cleans and disinfections, together with other remedial water hygiene works, maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality and customer service across client sites
Can you show experience in some of these areas:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within the Water Hygiene industry, with basic plumbing and remedials experience and a good understanding of ACOP L8 requirements
  • Experience carrying out water sampling, TMV servicing, tank inspections and cleaning, mains injections and calorifier cleans and inspections
  • Experience with swimming pool sampling and closed system sampling and analysis, with the ability to carry out works accurately and in accordance with relevant procedures and legislation
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own workload and maintain excellent standards of health and safety, compliance, electronic record keeping and customer service
