A growing renewable energy organisation is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to lead the electrical function across utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects .
You'll provide technical leadership across design, construction and commissioning, manage DNO relationships and develop the company's electrical and commissioning capability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the electrical and commissioning function.
Provide technical oversight across Solar PV and BESS projects.
Manage DNO relationships, G99, HV works and grid energisation.
Review designs, SLDs, RAMS and technical documentation.
Oversee HV/LV commissioning and SCADA/inverter integration.
Ensure compliance with BS 7671, CDM and relevant standards.
Support ISO accreditation and develop electrical procedures.
Recruit and develop electrical and commissioning staff.
About You
5+ years' electrical experience within renewable energy.
Strong utility-scale Solar PV and BESS experience.
Previous senior/lead electrical management experience.
Strong DNO, G99, HV and commissioning experience.
Level 3 Electrical qualification and 18th Edition .
2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
ECS Gold Card.
IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable: HV AP, energy storage qualification, HNC/HND/degree, NICEIC/ECA and AutoCAD/ETAP experience.
