We are working with a progressive and client-focused firm of Chartered Accountants with offices across the East & Midlands region, who are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a pivotal role delivering high-quality accounting and tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and charities.

You’ll work closely with clients, oversee workflow across your portfolio, and support junior colleagues while continuing to develop your own skills within a collaborative, modern practice environment.

• Prepare year‑end statutory accounts for a range of entities (Ltd companies, sole traders, partnerships, charities).
• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Complete personal tax returns and assist with related queries.
• Oversee workflow planning across your portfolio.
• Conduct review meetings with clients to discuss results and next steps.
• Support, coach, and develop junior team members.

• ACA or ACCA qualified, nearly qualified, or with equivalent practice experience.
• Strong technical knowledge across accounting and tax.
• Experience using software such as Xero and CCH (or willingness to learn).
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with clients and build trusted relationships.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities.
• Collaborative mindset, ideally with experience mentoring junior staff.
