We’re recruiting on behalf of a small but fast-growing independent firm in Northampton – a team that’s expanding quicker than expected and now needs someone with the right experience to step in and help shape the future.

• Has experience in a small firm environment
• Is either ACA/ACCA part-qualified, fully qualified, or qualified by experience
• Wants progression, but isn’t finding it where they are

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies
• Assisting with personal tax returns
• Reviewing and submitting VAT returns
• Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
• Working directly with directors and clients
• Using Xero (cloud-based) software daily

• Solid practice experience, especially with small limited companies
• Experience in tax compliance (personal and corporation) would be a plus
• Competence in VAT and management accounts
• Xero knowledge is a must (experience with Sage or Iris also beneficial)
• A proactive mindset and desire to grow with the firm
