Financial Accountant

A growing and evolving business is investing heavily in strengthening its finance capability and is looking to hire an ambitious finance professional to support the transformation of its Financial Control function.

• Supporting the month-end close process
• Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Balance sheet ownership and control
• Assisting with audits and maintaining strong financial controls
• VAT returns and wider tax support
• Supporting ongoing finance transformation projects
• Working closely with stakeholders across finance

• AAT Qualified or ACA/ACCA studier
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within financial accounting/financial control
• Strong month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation experience
• Previous exposure to audit processes
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and controls
