Responsibilities- Manage and develop a varied portfolio of tax clients across the Northamptonshire and wider South-East Midlands market.
- Provide high-quality tax advice to private individuals, business owners, owner‑managed businesses, and corporate clients.
- Deliver a broad mix of advisory work tailored to your background and tax specialism, including areas such as personal tax planning, corporate tax, CGT, IHT, and property tax.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local professional contacts, and internal teams across the wider network.
- Lead, mentor, and support the career progression and development of junior members within the tax team.
- Partner closely with Partners and senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and actively develop the Northampton tax offering.
- Be CTA, ACA, ACCA, or ATT qualified, or possess equivalent qualification‑by‑experience with a strong public practice background.
- Experience operating at Senior Manager, Associate Director, or Director level within an accountancy practice environment.
- Demonstrate comprehensive expertise across mixed tax, personal tax, or corporate tax frameworks.
- Possess proven experience in managing client relationships and delivering practical, commercially focused advice.
- Be confident identifying client advisory opportunities and contributing to business development activity.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with both clients and internal colleagues.
- 28 days of annual leave (including bank holidays) from day one, increasing up to 33 days based on length of service.
