Assistant Accountant

• Own the end-to-end capital project setup process, ensuring accurate project creation, maintenance, and governance
• Coordinate and manage approval workflows, acting as the key liaison between Operational teams and Finance stakeholders to ensure timely project approvals
• Process fixed asset transactions including disposals, transfers, and impairments, maintaining robust audit trails and compliance documentation
• Manage the full asset capitalisation lifecycle, from PO approval through to final capitalisation
• Support financial control activities through account management, month-end journals, reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and wider Finance Controllership support

• Finance background gained through academic study (e.g., degree) and/or practical finance experience
• Commitment to pursuing an accounting qualification
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse financial information accurately and efficiently
• Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills
• Confident communicator who can build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Highly organised and proactive, with strong time management skills

Demonstrates expertise in managing the capital project setup process, including fixed asset transactions and financial control activities. Proficient in Excel for financial analysis and committed to pursuing an accounting qualification.
