Finance Manager

The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join a growing manufacturing business. This is a highly visible position within the organisation, partnering closely with senior leadership and playing a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the finance function, delivering accurate financial reporting, improving processes, and providing meaningful commercial insight to support the wider business.

Key Responsibilities
· Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
· Lead the month-end process and ensure timely reporting.
· Produce budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.
· Provide commercial analysis and business partnering support to senior management.
· Maintain and strengthen financial controls and processes.
· Support strategic decision-making through financial insight.
· Oversee transactional finance activities where required.
· Support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems and processes. Person Specification
· Previous Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant experience.
· Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
· Experience with in manufacturing, engineering or distribution environments.
· Strong management accounting and reporting skills.
· Commercially aware and confident working with non-finance stakeholders.
· Forward-thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.
· Strong communication skill
· Excel and systems experience Systems Experience

Experience of ERP systems such as Infor M3, Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365, SAP or Sage would be advantageous. Working Arrangements
· Full-time office-based role.
· Flexible working hours available.
