Early-Mid October A leading organisation in its sector is looking for an experienced Interim Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join its finance function on an initial 3-month day-rate contract, starting in early to mid-October. This is a senior financial reporting role suited to someone who can quickly establish themselves in a complex finance environment, take ownership of key reporting activities and provide high-quality financial insight and support to senior stakeholders.

The Role As Interim Senior Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of robust, accurate and timely financial reporting. You will work closely with colleagues across finance and the wider organisation, ensuring reporting requirements are met, and financial information is produced to a high standard. Key responsibilities will include:
Leading and overseeing key financial reporting activities. Ensuring accurate and timely production of financial information and management reporting. Supporting the preparation and review of financial statements and related reporting requirements. Providing financial analysis, insight and challenge to support decision-making. Working closely with finance colleagues and senior stakeholders across the organisation. Ensuring appropriate financial controls, processes and governance are maintained. Supporting month-end, year-end and other key financial reporting cycles.

Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and efficiency. Providing support and guidance to colleagues within the finance function. Contributing to wider finance projects and initiatives as required. About You We are looking for a technically strong and commercially aware finance professional with significant experience in financial reporting. You will ideally have:
Strong experience in a senior financial reporting or financial management position. A recognised professional accountancy qualification or equivalent level of experience. Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge. Experience operating effectively within a complex organisation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy. The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The confidence to work independently and make an immediate impact in an interim environment.

Experience of improving financial reporting processes and controls.
