Financial Analyst

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business looking to add a Financial Analyst to their finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail behind the numbers, working closely with different departments and using financial information to help support better commercial decisions.

You’ll be joining a busy, collaborative environment where you’ll have exposure across the wider business and the opportunity to take real ownership of your work.

What you’ll be doing :

* Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning

* Producing regular management information and financial analysis

* Reviewing performance against budget and identifying key variances

* Working with operational and commercial teams to understand business performance

* Supporting month-end reporting and financial processes

* Analysing costs, margins and profitability

* Preparing reports and presenting financial information to key stakeholders

* Identifying trends, risks and opportunities within the numbers

* Supporting continuous improvement across reporting and financial processes

What we’re looking for:

* Previous experience within a finance, analyst or management accounting position

* Strong Excel and analytical skills

* Comfortable working with large amounts of financial data

* Able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders

* Commercially minded with good attention to detail

* Experience with in manufacturing, FMCG or a similar environment would be advantageous

* Part qualified, qualified by experience or working towards a finance qualification would all be considered depending on experience
