The Role As a Housing Officer, you will deliver a high-quality, customer-focused housing management service across a defined patch within Northamptonshire, with regular presence required in Wellingborough.
This is a tenancy-facing, community-based role where you will take ownership of your patch, building positive relationships with residents while ensuring neighbourhood standards are maintained.
Hybrid working is available, balancing home working with on-site visits and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer:
Managing a portfolio of general needs tenancies
Supporting residents to sustain their tenancies
Conducting tenancy visits and neighbourhood inspections
Addressing low-level anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches
Working collaboratively with income teams around arrears management
Coordinating with internal teams and external partner agencies
Ensuring compliance with housing policies and relevant legislation
Delivering a visible, responsive housing management service

About You
Experience in a Housing Officer or generic housing management role
Strong understanding of tenancy and housing legislation
Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
Proactive, organised, and community-focused approach
