Health & Safety Consultant – Northampton Region
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Expenses + Pension + 31 Days Holiday
Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Health & Safety Consultant to join a respected organisation in a permanent role. This position is based in the Birmingham region, covering the southern region, and requires extensive travel with occasional overnight stays.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with strong technical expertise, particularly in fire safety and fire risk assessments, who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive health & safety audits across the southern region
* Lead on fire safety compliance, including detailed fire risk assessments
* Provide expert guidance on health & safety policies, procedures, and best practice
* Support management teams to maintain exceptional safety and compliance standards
* Deliver training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions as required
* Travel extensively to client sites, with occasional overnight stays
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ UK Health & Safety experience – essential
* Proven background as a Health & Safety Consultant or similar role
* NEBOSH qualification – essential
* Recognised fire safety qualification with strong fire risk assessment experience
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* High levels of energy, resilience, and flexibility to manage a busy audit schedule
Salary & Benefits
* £45,000 – £55,000 per annum
* All travel expenses covered
* Pension scheme
* 31 days annual leave including bank holidays
