Hospital Chaplain – Part Time (Multi Faith) – Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust

We are seeking an experienced and motivated multi‑faith chaplain to provide excellent spiritual, pastoral and religious care to patients, visitors and staff across the Trust.

• Deliver spiritual, pastoral and religious care to patients, visitors and staff, including end‑of‑life support, bereavement counselling, and specific rituals of faith communities.
• Work closely with professional healthcare teams, community colleagues and volunteers, responding promptly to referrals and requests.
• Collaborate with the Senior Chaplain and other chaplaincy department members to ensure timely support.
• Participate in an on‑call service shared among the team, with an on‑site response time of 30‑45 minutes.
• Maintain a pro‑rata weekend working schedule and demonstrate resilience, reliability and reflective practice.

• Suitable qualified multi‑faith chaplain with adequate experience in providing safe and sensitive religious, spiritual and pastoral care.
• Demonstrated personal faith, resilience and capacity to work under pressure.
