Care Assistant

About the Role

As a Care Assistant with Helping Hands, you will provide warm, meaningful companionship and support to individuals in their own homes.

• Support clients with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, ensuring safety and confidence.
• Administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run errands, including food shopping and prescription pickups.

• No prior care experience required; we provide full training.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Demonstrated kindness, reliability, willingness to learn and a people-first mindset.

• Paid mileage at £0.35 per mile.
