37 hours per week

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Thackley Green Specialist Care Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting patient recovery and enabling safe, timely discharges from hospital settings.

• Lead comprehensive therapy assessments and rehabilitation programmes for patients admitted from hospital
• Conduct home access visits to assess the need for minor adaptations and equipment
• Effectively manage your own caseload, prioritising and planning interventions to meet patient needs
• Delegate tasks appropriately to Therapy Assistants, ensuring safe and efficient service delivery
• Support the wider Discharge to Assess pathway, taking on referrals where required
• Work closely with multidisciplinary professionals to facilitate smooth and timely discharges
• Promote independence and support individuals to return safely to their home environment

• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and appropriate business insurance (essential)
