Care Workers – Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) Available

Looking for a fresh opportunity in care, with Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) available? Whether already living in the UK or planning to move here, this is a chance to build on your care skills and experience, explore different places and meet new people while developing your career with an established care provider.

We are partnering with a large care provider who is offering a three-year programme with opportunities to travel between its homes. Each home brings new people to get to know, different care needs to understand and opportunities to work in a sector that may be new to you, opening up career paths you might not have considered before – in UK social care, where your care knowledge and experience are valued.

A Care Professional role in the UK offers the chance to build on your existing care knowledge and skills, gaining experience in different homes while developing your career.

Experience

  • Relevant care experience; social care experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience supporting older people or people living with dementia would be an advantage.

Skills needed

  • English language skills for everyday conversations and completing written records.
  • Good observation skills, compassion and the ability to recognise non-verbal signs of pain or discomfort.
  • The confidence to take initiative when needed, recognise when fellow team members would benefit from support without waiting to be asked, and encourage others when morale is low.

Other requirements

  • Willingness to spend six months at a time in different homes as part of the three-year programme.
  • Willingness to relocate between sites and adapt to new accommodation, local surroundings and team members.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to unfamiliar surroundings.

Pay:
From £12.71 per hour

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • Discounted or free food
  • Employee mentoring programme
  • Free parking
  • Language training provided
  • On-site parking
  • Referral programme
