Job Overview

We're hiring a Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

• Base salary up to £37k
• Uncapped commission with no ceiling
• 08:30-17:30, Monday to Thursday (usually out early on Friday)

• Full‑time office based in NN1 Northampton
• You must be able to drive.
• This is a phone‑based role; you should enjoy speaking to people.
• Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude are essential.

• Manage your own desk within industrial or commercial recruitment.
• Business development on the phone and face‑to‑face.
• Sourcing candidates thoroughly, not just job board farming.
• Screening, interviewing and referencing before submission.
• Keeping control of the whole process through to offer.

Relaxed culture with no suits or daft rules. We don’t enforce rigid metrics like “10 before 10” or “make 60 calls before you can have a brew”. You’re trusted to build your desk, work with clients, and look after them properly.

• Recruitment experience helps, but attitude matters more.
• Organised enough to run multiple roles without dropping standards.
• Straightforward, able to build trust quickly.

• No spreadsheets or outdated systems – you get what you need.

Year 1 around £45k, Year 2 around £55k, Year 3 £ 65k+.

The process is straightforward and usually takes a couple of weeks from start to finish, depending on availability.
