This role will initially focus heavily on resourcing, administration, bookings, candidate registrations and branch support until January. From January onwards, the successful candidate will receive further training and development into a full Recruitment Consultant position. Candidates with previous recruitment experience may be able to progress quicker depending on experience. Recruitment Consultant

Immediate start available Recruitment Consultant Required - Northampton Quest Employment are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Northampton branch. This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident on the phone, sales-minded, organised and looking to build a long-term career within recruitment. Our team is very sales-driven, so previous sales, business development, customer service or recruitment experience would be preferred.

However, the right attitude, communication skills, confidence and work ethic are just as important.

The Role As a Recruitment Consultant, your duties may include:
Speaking with candidates and clients over the phone Resourcing candidates from job boards and internal systems Posting and managing job adverts Screening candidates for temporary and permanent vacancies Registering candidates and completing compliance checks Updating the CRM system and candidate records Managing bookings and filling last-minute vacancies Supporting payroll/admin processes where required Sending confirmations, emails and messages to candidates and clients Supporting existing client accounts Learning how to manage vacancies from start to finish Learning how to build client relationships and develop new business Supporting client visits and meetings when required Progressing into a fuller Recruitment Consultant role after training What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who:
Is confident and professional on the phone Has a sales-minded attitude and enjoys speaking to people Is driven, proactive and willing to learn Can work in a fast-paced recruitment environment Is organised and able to manage admin accurately Is confident using computers, emails, CRM systems and Microsoft Office Has strong communication skills Can work well under pressure Is flexible and willing to support outside standard working hours when required Has previous sales, business development, recruitment or customer service experience, preferred Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a car for client visits Flexibility Required Recruitment is fast-paced and reactive, so flexibility is essential.

You must be comfortable with:
Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Staying later when required to support the branch Joining the on-call mobile phone rota Answering calls outside of standard office hours when on call Completing urgent admin or booking support from home when required Filling last-minute bookings and candidate cover Supporting occasional weekend requirements Travelling to client sites when required What's in it for you?
