We are looking for PMO Analyst - Cloud at Northampton, UK – 2-3 days per week Onsite
Job Description:
Our Client is looking for PMO to oversee and manage cloud-based IT programs and projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance, and overseeing budgets and resources to align with business objectives. Key responsibilities include establishing project roadmaps, managing cloud vendor contracts and SLAs, supporting project planning and execution, facilitating communication with stakeholders, and ensuring timely project delivery within scope and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Program & Project Oversight:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud projects and upgrades.
- Establish and maintain a cloud systems roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Manage relationships with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS vendors.
- Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance.
- Monitor and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with vendors.
- Governance & Reporting:
- Establish and maintain project standards and best practices.
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting on financial performance, progress, and program metrics.
- Drive governance processes and ensure adherence to policies.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues across project work streams.
- Serve as an escalation point for project-level decisions.
- Resource & Budget Management:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring delivery within financial constraints.
- Support resource allocation by optimizing availability and utilization.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business units for cloud applications and support.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders and leadership.
- Strong project management expertise with experience in large-scale IT or cloud transformation programs.
- Technical acumen in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience in cross-functional team coordination and stakeholder management.
