As part of the marketing team, you’ll conduct regular audits, keyword research, on-page optimisation, and content improvements that drive revenue and organic traffic growth. - Run regular technical audits and support CMS maintenance within Open Cart to ensure sites are crawlable, indexable, fast, and commercially optimised.
- Conduct intent-led keyword research and mapping to prioritise high-impact product, category, and landing page opportunities.
- Optimise on-page elements including metadata, content, internal linking, and site structure, with a clear focus on improving revenue, conversion rates, and traffic.
- Use tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Neuron Writer, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console to identify opportunities and inform optimisation.
- Collaborate with wider teams to align SEO with CRM marketing and link-building activity.
- Prioritising SEO activity based on revenue impact rather than traffic volume.
- Working closely with the Ecommerce & Website Manager on technical improvement, implementation and CMS optimisation within Open Cart.
- Supporting ecommerce growth by targeting high-intent keywords and bottom-of-funnel opportunities.
- Creating SEOand LLM-friendly content briefs to support content production and ongoing optimisation.
- 2–3 years’ experience in an SEO Executive role or similar position
- Experience working within ecommerce and/or B2B environments
- Proven ability to deliver SEO activity that contributes to revenue and conversion growth.
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, and commercial keyword targeting for ecommerce.
- Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Neuron Writer (or similar platforms).
- Comfortable identifying issues, challenging assumptions where needed, and providing solutions or alternative viewpoints.
- Strong copywriting skills with high attention to detail.
- Analytical and commercially aware, with the ability to prioritise tasks based on business impact.
- Proactive, positive attitude with a genuine passion for SEO and continuous improvement.
- Bonus: familiarity with Open Cart would be advantageous but not essential.
