SAP Finance Systems Manager

Systems Accountants are supporting a leading professional services organisation in the search for an experienced SAP Manager to oversee and optimise their SAP S/4

HANA environment.

This is a key leadership role responsible for the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of a complex SAP landscape, while also supporting future transformation initiatives including SAP RISE readiness.

The successful candidate will lead a team of SAP specialists across support, enhancement delivery, and operational management activities. The role combines technical oversight, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and people leadership within a business-critical SAP environment.

• Manage and develop a team of SAP analysts and developers
• Oversee day‑to‑day SAP S/4
  
  HANA operations and service delivery
• Coordinate enhancements, incidents, releases, and change requests
• Support month‑end, year‑end, and other critical business processes
• Work closely with third‑party support and hosting partners
• Ensure effective governance across transports, documentation, and system controls
• Support roadmap planning, upgrades, optimisation, and future cloud transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with business stakeholders across finance and HR functions

• Proven experience managing SAP support or application teams
• Strong SAP S/4
  
  HANA operational knowledge
• Experience across SAP FICO and HCM modules
• Understanding of SAP integrations, workflows, authorisations, and change management
• Experience working within structured IT service environments (ITIL/CAB/release management)
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Experience supporting professional services or regulated environments
• Exposure to SAP RISE or cloud transformation programmes
